Allama Muhammad Iqbal is the National Poet of Pakistani Nation. He was a great poet of not only Pakistan but also of the Asia. He was born on 9 November 1877. His Father’s name is Noor Muhammad.
He got his early education in his hometown. He joined the Mission High School Sialkot and passed his Matriculation examinations. After receiving the early education from Mission high school, he got admission in Government College Lahore. There he passed his Bachelor of Arts(B.A) examinations in 1987. He had a great love for his religion Islam. In 1930, He created a concept of the separate Muslim state in the South Asia when Hindu’s and Muslims in the Subcontinent. Allama Muhammad Iqbal was worried about the independence of the Muslims in the subcontinent and he wrote poems and poetry. And through his poetry, he awoke the Muslims from their dreams of sleep in the result of his effort. He wrote poetry in Urdu, Persia.
